Volgende week groot civiel-militaire rampenoefening in Twente, radiologische meetoefening in Oldenzaal
Twente – Defensie neemt de komende 2 weken met 1.750 militairen deel aan grote rampenoefeningen door heel Nederland.
Gemeenten, brandweer, politie, ambulancediensten en ziekenhuizen, de kustwacht, reddingsbrigades, Rode Kruis en amateur zendvereniging DARES doen allemaal mee in deze grootschalige oefeningen door 8 veiligheidsregioās. Afgelopen maandag was de aftrap in Noord-Nederland, waar een gesimuleerde dijkdoorbraak plaats had.
EĆ©n van de onderdelen tijdens deze landelijke oefening is een radiologische meetoefening in Oldenzaal op 7 november.
Hierbij gaat de brandweer samen met defensie metingen verrichten van radiologische straling, zoals vrij zou kunnen komen bij kerncentrales. Hiervoor wordt tevens een mobiel meetlaboratorium en ontsmettings-straat opgezet.
De veiligheidsregio Twente laat zien hoe om te gaan met een dreiging van chemische, biologische, radiologische of nucleaire aard. De veiligheidsregioās Midden- en Noord-Oost Gelderland hebben de natuurbrand als het centraal thema.
